Jereon – Head of HR

Jeroen leads the HR Department at Easytrip Transport Services, operating at a strategic level and working with the HR Team members on key projects and initiatives that enhance systems and processes for our colleagues across the Europe. As member of the Management Team he actively contributes to strategic discussions that impact the broader goals of the company. His role includes working on projects such as supporting the company’s transition to 360 PAY and implementing modern tools like the new Factorial HR system, which optimizes workflows and create efficiencies. Each year, Jeroen and his team focus on interesting projects to modernize and streamline processes, creating a better working environment for everyone.

What he appreciates most about his role is the diversity in responsibilities and the opportunity to be part of managing changes in the company, getting ready for the future. He also values the international and intercultural scope of his work, which allows him to collaborate with colleagues from diverse backgrounds, exchange ideas, and gain unique cultural insights.

Jeroen’s path to HR wasn’t linear—he initially studied chemistry but found it too limited for his interests, so he shifted to HR, where he could explore a broader range of subjects while focusing on working with people. He is driven by a passion for understanding others, fostering cooperation and creating a better workplace for everyone.

Outside of work, he enjoys riding his motorcycle, renovating his 420-year-old house and organizing board game nights or pub quizzes with family and friends. These activities allow him to recharge and return to work feeling refreshed and energized.
